I can't recommend John highly enough. He did a fantastic job of painting our soffits and fascias. He also repaired and made good as new a few areas that were quite badly rotten. Very professional, punctual, and a great guy. Thanks John!

Yes, John Boron "is a diamond, a highly skilled and experienced, old-school craftsman, fantastic at his job, honest, reliable and a thoroughly decent human being who really cares about his work and making sure you are happy with it at every stage." He is indeed incredibly generous with his skills and support, and really works with your vision for your space, and especially not losing patience when it isn't well defined at first - as this was for me (thank you John!). He helped me figure out the vision itself! He brings vast knowledge and experience of his craft - nothing like what I've seen with other decorators I've used in the past who tend to just slap on paint and think this is all that is needed from them - which I could do myself! John was also prompt and incredibly tidy. I highly recommend him to others who also have a high standard of workmanship and character from people they employ. John Boron is a diamond. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found what is a rare gem nowadays, a highly skilled and experienced, old-school craftsman. John is not only fantastic at his job, he is honest, reliable and a thoroughly decent human being who really cares about his work and making sure you are happy with it at every stage. He is incredibly generous with his skills and support, with a really uncanny knack of perceiving your tastes and with the knowledge and experience to bring your ideas to reality. In fact, we couldn't have imagined in our wildest dreams that our dilapidated hall/stairs/landing and upstairs toilet could possibly look so spectacular. John was also prompt in every respect, from responding to our initial inquiry to visiting our property and giving us a very competitive quote. He's also great to have around, was punctual every day and worked like a trooper to make us happy. Our run-down house means a lot to us as it's where five generations of our family have been born and brought up and John clearly knew this and wanted to go the extra mile - several in fact - to restore it. It was far from a straightforward job, with extensive repair and preparation work needed after decades of neglect. But John has restored it to not just its former glory but to much more than it's ever been. It is now utterly gorgeous and we're delighted. We just hope John will be available to work his magic on the rest of the house! We certainly wouldn't want to use anyone else and have no hesitation in recommending him.

John replied quickly with a very competitive quote for our hall, stairs and landing. Nothing was too much trouble. He even managed to find the right colour paint for us which had been discontinued. We are thrilled with the end result and have no hesitation in recommending him. A good, honest tradesman.
